Great advise, Dr. Linda! That is the way i grew up, and my own children always ate breakfast and dinner together. it is the one thing their friends in Poplar Bluff remember now about our home….meals around the table and the fun we had talking!
Lol… We eat meals together for the most part, but I will admit that sometimes I refuse to eat until after they are done, either because they are already getting on my nerves, and listening to the sound of 6 kids chewing seems like it would be the proverbial straw on the camel’s back, or because when you’re feeding 7 other people, someone always needs seconds of dinner, a drink refill, another napkin – or SOMETHING! Often my hubby will wait and eat with me, which is nice too
wow – really great statistical info here…like Jen said – breakfast! lunch! and dinner! – together forever to keep our kids off the pot and the booze!!!!! here , here!!! one of my biggest fears! xoxoxox ps – does this mean i go embarrass the kids at school and sit at their lunch table??? – you know i’d do it!!
