Oy! The number of classes available to kids is overwhelming! The main concern I have is with sports and my 6-year old son. Some of his friends are enrolled in a sport throughout the year. I try to limit my kids to one or two activities per season, so that means they will miss out on a sport here and there. I’m worried that when he enrolls the following season, he’ll be behind the others in skills, and the coach won’t dedicate the extra time during practice to catch him up with the others. Isn’t that a coaches job? Granted, I’ll need to work with him at home too, but I’m not proficient in every sport.
